
Tracy Viser
Tracy Viser is the principle instructor at The Woodlands Academy of Art. He is a graduate of the University of Houston in Art History and Studio Arts (Magna Cum Laude). He completed his Master’s Degree in Painting at the New York Academy of Art, Graduate School of Figurative Art. Tracy has studied in Florence, Italy at the Angel Academy of Art and The Florence Academy of Art. He recently completed a summer residency at the University of Oxford in England, Ruskin School of Art.
In addition to teaching classes at the Woodlands Academy of Art, Tracy also teaches at Sam Houston State University. His work can be found in private and public collections in Europe, North America, and Latin America.

Tammy Viser
Tammy Viser is a principle instructor at The Woodlands Academy of Art, as well as the administrator of the school. She also teaches at Esprit International School in the Woodlands. She has lived in Italy, having studied glass blowing in Murano with Simone Cenedes. When in Florence and Rome, she studied the Regio Emelia children’s art programs. In the past she has taught at many homeschool co-ops in Texas, Connecticut, and Florence, Italy.
Aline Myers
Aline comes to us after four years of teaching art in a local private school and originally trained as a fashion designer in London. Aline has established her multi media classes and additionally is offering collage/decoupage and screen printing.
Annette K. Palmer.
Originally from Scotland, Annette has a BA Honors Degree in Art and Design from Edinburgh College of Art. After travelling extensively and previously running her own fashion business overseas, Annette has settled in The Woodlands. She has exhibited and sold her art worldwide and has taught art in many forms to a wide variety of age groups. Passions include figurative art, drawing, fabric embellishments and decoration, acrylic painting, texture, working with recycled materials, vintage and glamor.
Rod Flower.
After graduating from The Oregon College of Art, Rod became affiliated with Oregon Trails Gallery where his paintings were displayed throughout the Northwest, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. After moving to The Woodlands in 1985 Rod has consistently shown in numerous galleries in Houston and Denver, Colorado. Rod is a versatile artist working in a variety of mediums, additionally he is a member of the Portrait Society of America and owns his own company called "Art & Soul" which specializes in creative set design and construction. Currently he lives in The Woodlands with his wife Adriana and sons Felipe and Pablo.
Marcia Erickson
Originally from Clear Lake, Marcia attained a Degree in Math before studying ceramics and finding her passion in clay. In 2008, Marcia was awarded Clay Houston's emerging artist of the year. Her recent work in clay is stamped, deeply textured, altered and carved. Marcia exhibits as a guest artist at 18 Hands Gallery in Houston.
